Last time I wrote was 8 March 2020, almost a year now. So many things happened. Covid happened, I stopped working, my husband stopped school. And on July 2020, I started dialysis. Prior to his, I had surgeries, minor ones. I was scheduled for a surgery for a fistula. Screenshot of what my fistula is attached below. I have it on my left arm. On the day of my surgery, they had to add a vas cath as my kidney function is only on 8%, a brief explanation from google is attached below as well. Two days after, my Nephrologist called me to head to the dialysis unit as I need a session for an hour and a half as my kidney function is only 6%, just two days after. FISTULA Vas Cath Anyway, from then on, I had to do dialysis three times a week. Started from an hour and a half then two hours then three hours then four hours. So as of February 2021, I still have to do dialysis three times a week for four hours. Fortunately, I have the best Nephrologist in Canberra, he was able to move mountains to be ...

Happiest day of my life ♥️

Image
Things have been difficult lately. So, I am going to share to you my happiest day of my life, my wedding day. It makes me happy thinking about this day. 25 November 2018. Photos by our photographer James. It was definitely the best day of my life. ♥️

Monday

Hello, you. I worked this morning, I had 6am to 10:30am shift, it was easy and quick. I got home and had a little snack and a nap after. I finally showered, all fast food smell is gone now I just finished watching this new series on Netflix called I am not okay with this. I currently have All the Bright Places on the background while I am writing this. So far, everything is fine other than my very dry and itchy face. I have just been washing it with a facial soap and nothing else because I am too scared of whatever can happen again like sweeping of lips and stuff. I am off for the next two days and work again. I am thankful. Last Saturday, I finished watching another series on Netflix that was called The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez. It was very hard to watch, it is overly sad, for me. He was 8 years old when he died, tortured by his mother and the boyfriend. I just cannot believe people could do that to a kid, an angel. I cried watching it, I did not know Ga...

6 days off

Hi. I know I have to work on my post titles, I honestly do not know how to name it. Anyway, I have been sick since Monday, I think or sometimes after my last post. I have had fever, my throat hurt and then when I was feeling a little better my lips got swollen and we had to rush to the hospital cause we did not know what to do. We waited for almost 4 hours until a doctor was able to see me. I was given anti histamine and it did help. No one knew if it was from the food or drink I had earlier that night or one of my medication but they replaced one of my pills anyway cause it was one of the side effects which is called " Angioedema ". I went to see my see the next day and she said it was very good that I went to the hospital right away and for the doctor to switch my pills as if the second, third or fourth angioedema attack will happen, it will be very bad. So yeah, that is about it.  Other than that, I think one big event that is going to happen or will happen (depending h...

Hi

Well, hello hello. What should I write? Actually, there is so much I want to share, firstly, my endless rant about my crazy sometimes awesome life (hehe), my husband, my happy and sad days. I just want to share anything and everything. 😄 I guess I will just start with today, Monday, 24 February 2020, 5.06pm. I have FBE (Youtube channel) and my cute looking bear diffuser that has tiny mellow music on the background. Today has been nice and chill. My husband and I are both home, he is not working until Saturday and I am off until Wednesday. He made us yummy pancakes for breakfast. I love our breakfast together, always. It is always special. I then relaxed in the room as I have been sick since Friday, thank goodness though I am feeling better now. Whilst, the husband is in the living room playing Assassin's Creed. We then watching Travellers on Netflix, it is a good show. Its almost dinner and we thought of chicken soup for dinner, yum yum. Nothing else much done today but being...

1st

Well, obviously this is my first post. I have been thinking of creating a new blog for a little while now. I used to have one but it was from my teenage years and it was full of crap (hehe). So, I decided to make a new one and to be honest, having a blog helped me a lot by being able to share what I feel comfortably and not worry about other people. I prefer this than having a vlog. See, I do not have a good face and voice. Anyway, I am excited to share what has happened and what is happening with my life. I hope I can get some advise if needed and stuff. And here we go.... Hi, hello. My name is Riva, turning 32 this year, married to the most amazing man in the world for almost 2 years now. I have a stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease. I currently work at one of the famous fast food restaurants in the world. I am currently in Australia but originally from the Philippines.  If anyone can read this, I would appreciate some suggestions for the good or best topics to...
